a happy shop peek: lutterlagkage

i am very happy to tell you about a fantastic new shop in malmo sweden, opened by the very talented and lovely stine of lutterlagkage. seeing this new store makes me very hyggelig happy indeed!

stine has filled this bright space full of her fantastic handmade children's clothing and home accessories.she has used amazing vintage wallpaper to decorate her shop that looks great along side the vintage fabric she uses to make her beautiful goods that include clothing and quilts. she is also selling some wares from other brilliant designers too in her new store.

if like me you live too far away for a visit (although one fine day i hope to have a wee trip) then you can visit her beautiful webshop instead. if you are lucky enough to stay nearby then lutterlagkage is on hyregatan 7 and open thursdays from 11-4. please say hi from me!

i first came across stine's great style via her flickr photo site that has snaps of her amazing home. i love the way she has decorated her space right down to her fabby bright orange smeg fridge!

friday: red

yup it's raining here in glasgow today! the rest of this week has been nice autumn weather so i can't complain! we have even had some sun. yay!

a very red russian cafe within trongate 103. i had nice coffee with friends here today.

i purchased this little guy in helsinki, he makes me smile! this is the last day of autumn colour week over at poppytalk. i have enjoyed finding and taking photos of autumn colours.

wednesday: orange

today is orange in colour week over at poppytalk. i have added one of my favourite mugs ( atelier lzc for habitat 05 ) that i will be using for many a hot chocolate this autumn, and some amazing vivid orange wool i purchased ages ago in loop. i am still deciding what to use it for.

tuesday: green

autumn seedlings growing in little paper pots ready to plant over at my allotment, some clover growing nearby my home and some green ferns. i am taking part in poppytalk's autumn colour week.

monday: yellow

i am taking part in autumn colour week over at poppytalk. you can add pictures to your blog or flickr sites and add them to a special flickr group. i love yellow. ilove my yellow shoes. oh and i love autumn!

the magic conker

i love autumn. it has always been my favorite time of the year. one of the things i love about it are conkers. they remind me of when i was a kid, gathering fallen ones from trees on the way to school to thread onto string and have conker 'fights' with chums.

i love this book from my childhood as it has a very happy ending! there is a tree in the city a short stroll from my home that has a plentiful supply at this time of year. i was lucky enough to find all of these ones there.

september flowers

there are some beautiful flowers still in bloom at my allotment including wildflowers from tracy all the way from denmark. thanks tracy for cheering up me and my wee garden with colour and butterfly's! here is a little posy for you!

a special bench monday

i added a special bench to bench monday today. it is in the community gardens where i have my allotment. it is made of very beautiful wood and has many carving of animals and insects. it looks like it was made with love.
