another item on my (very long) wish list is this new collection of drawings and paintings by the amazingly talented nigel peake. strom is an illustrated essay about a week nigel spent in a cabin in norway last august.

viv richards
these beautiful collages are by the very talented mixed media artist viv richards who also just happens to be my best buddy. she has just (finally!) opened up an etsy shop to sell giclee prints of these 5 designs which are inspired by beaches and her travels to places like wales, cornwall and even scotland! i really love the last one, with the little person walking near the rocks.viv loves working with texture and colour and enjoys 'happy accidents' when mistakes happen and its like the picture then just 'takes over'.
at the moment you can see some of viv's artwork in the se20 group exhibition at ripley arts centre, bromley where her hubby dom (also super talented) is taking part too. on until 25th feb.
