the many colours of spring

a little colour on a grey day during the short walk home from a hospital appointment. it really brightened up my day. urban nature is so precious when you live in a city.

spring is here. along with the odd ray of sunshine there is plenty of rain, wind and even hailstones (yup, i got caught in a storm with hailstones battering against my face!) just another typical scottish spring. a trip to my allotment to see the spring flowers. soon it will be time to plant some lettuce, herbs and kale.
