the makers is a photo project by photographer jennifer causey who is bsed in brooklyn . i often stop by to see what new artisans she has added that are based there. so far they include local jewellers, ceramicists, painters, florists, perfumer, clothing designers and chocolate maker (as above). she takes amazing photos and interviews them. jennifer plans a book later this year, which i must look out for.i often feel nostalgic about brooklyn as it as where my great grandparents emigrated to and the place, apart from here in great britain (or perhaps scandinavia or spain) where i would most like to live in the world. maybe one day i will.
