as last night was guy fawkes/bonfire night, plus it's getting mighty chilly round here and we could do with a bit of warming up this week's hyggelig happy flickr group is all about cozy fires. as a kiddy i used to take great delight in watching the hot coals flicker in my grandfathers open fire. it was so comforting and i have dreamed ever since of having my own open fire or log burning stove. alas i have yet to live in a home with either so i will just make do with drooling over pictures of other people's fires until one day i get my own!thanks once again to everyone who has added photos. the following pictures belong to:h is for home, sunshine upon upton, madelinetosh, emma bradshaw and lisa steinbrueck.
