birdy footprints

we have had more snow overnight. it's very cold here so lots of hot chocolate and cozy blankets are needed! i spotted some cute little birdy footprints in the snow today.

    We finally had our deepest snowfall since 1981 here yesterday. Here's hoping for many more to come!
    There is something curiously touching about such tiny footprints. Possibly because they are so transient, fragile.
